- WordPerfect 6.1 for Windows should read files created by the
- Amiga WordPerfect ok. WP 6.1 can be told to write files in WordPerfect 4.2 format,
- which, of course, does not support all the formatting introduced after 4.2.
-
- WordPerfect 4.2 format is a little different from 4.1 format on the Amiga.
- Before they quit the Amiga, WP released a little utility that would convert between
- WordPerfect 4.2 and 4.1.
-
- The very last release of Amiga WordPerfect seems to work ok on my AmigaDOS 3.0
- system.
-
- However, in my opinion, FinalWriter's latest version is a much much better
- word processor to use if you are going to be creating documents
- on the Amiga. Now that they've released a cheap (free?) Win95 version, it may be
- that it will solve any problems of editing/printing documents (at least your own)
- on both platforms.
